Artist Statement:
Armed with an arsenal of cheap Russian cameras and plenty of film I photograph whatever catches my eye wherever I go. Mundane and everyday sights are brought to life thanks to the high colour saturation of Russian lenses. My photographs are not digitally enhanced, they are presented as they are captured on film.

I experiment with double-exposure, cross-processing, and long exposure times to intensify the colour saturation of the photographs, and generally shoot “from the hip” - avoiding use of a viewfinder, resulting in a slightly different perspective on the world than we are all used to at eye level.
