Artist Statement: When creating artwork I strive to produce dynamic illustrations that celebrate the subject matter by exaggerating perspective and intensifying colour. I primarily use acrylic or watercolour and work from life in order that the piece retains its vitality and freshness. The range of subject matter I work with is varied. I am currently focusing on vehicles and architecture, concentrating on details to produce stylised pieces. In June 2004 I completed
a Masters in Applied Arts at the University of Ulster at Belfast, and
previously obtained a degree in Visual Communication from the same university. |
