Artist Statement:
I completed studies in Photography at CSIT in Queensland Australia in 2002.
In the same year I became the first Student from QLD ever selected into the ACMP Australian Photographers Collection.
Further recognition came at the Australian Professional Photography Awards 2002; my work received a silver distinction and silver award. - www.aipp.com.au

Reportage, Photojournalism and Portraiture are the areas of photography I find most rewarding and currently pursue.
My main influences come from life itself; I tend to feel my way through and around whatever circumstances confront me; although I do admire and gain inspiration from many photographers. Trent Parke’s amazing work particularly inspires me.

First and foremost I choose to photograph issues or moments that interest me personally, in doing so I can create images that intrigue and communicate life from my viewpoint.
