Society and urbanism, portraits of contemporary behavior,
and our relationship to imaginary world are the key elements to my research.
I cross the boundaries of culture. Unprecedented developments
of new media art have created new artistic languages and interdisciplinary
models of cultural expression. The idea is that modern visual artists
are sort of “nomad” artists, art technology and net art create
an international art with no boundaries.
My efforts are focused in following a certain methodology
through observation, registration, digital intervention and digital construction
where a pattern can be recognized. This building blocks or patterns constitute
the foundation of my architecture. In this measure we arrive to the idea
of "urban landscape" where to my knowledge or experience I believe
to be the relationship between internal human nature (the idea of portraiture)
and human vital space. The balance between this two elements and more
so, the transition amongst this two barriers, reveal the essence of human
evolution. Within this context, I have conceived the genesis of visual
art projects characterized by so called social urbanity cultural awareness.
Conceiving these worlds together became the foreground
of gradually orienting my art projects to social awareness within the
reality of urban environment. Visualizing the idea of "costumes of
society" vis-à-vis "costumes of parties", brings
me to the reflection of boundaries between reality and fantasy.
