Artists Statement

Stylistically, my work borders on the laissez-faire manner of Illustration, with the painterly method of a fine artist.
My , in which I try and capture a sense of realism and obscurity to characters that are subtly anatomically malformed.
I have been specifically interested in representing people in my work for as long as I can remember, drawing inspiration from a vast range of figurative painters and societies.
Preferably, I will complete a picture using oil paints, subsequent to a short period of visual research and a series of rough preliminary variations.
My objective is to productively realize a brief to the best of my ability by creating images that are visually engaging while at the same time provoking thought.
