Artist's Statement
In Jamaica 1997
m life was saved by Rastafari. My work elevates this beleif, hopefully towards
universal recognition. I owe and I pay back with what I am best at doing. Without
the opportunity to create I loose purpose in my life. My work can explore politics,
philosophy and social comment.
Strong equatorial colour, exagerated and compensating my visual disability dominates
my work. My pallet consists of ochres, reds, greens and the amazing depths of
blue that sky can offer, equatorial travel and my father have shaped my own
colour tastes
My paintings on the surface are quite simple. For all to appreciate or criticise.
On real study of the original you may find treasures, depending on your own
perception.
For sales, commissions and to send comments to the artist.
