Artist Statement:

I attended the university of portsmouth and graduated with a degree in art design and media (computer animation pathway). I live and work in portsmouth, producing digital art. I attempt to describe abstract human thoughts and ideas in a visual way. I am interested in the way that people interact and engage with technology,
religion/mythology and nature. My work can variously be described as: ephemeral, textural, symmetrical, abstract and conceptual. I use traditional materials such as pens, pencils etc. I also take my own photographs. These images are then scanned into a computer where I alter them using manipulation software such as photoshop. The resultant images are sometimes used as the final piece of work. Sometimes they are used as texture maps for 3d objects that I produce in 3d studio max, bryce and poser.
