Artist Statement:

Emma, Has been creating wonderful images since she was eight years old. Her work has always focused on the fantastical and evolutionary side to life! She takes her inspirations from such designers as "Future Systems, Roger Dean, Edward Munch" to name but a few!

Emma Studied at De Montfort University in Leicester where she gained a 2:1 Ba Honours in Interior Design. Her career has taken many diverse paths - her last big adventure saw her win the " Vision" training scheme with the BBC, to train as a Production Designer. She worked on various programmes such as "Judge John Deed", starring Martin Shaw - from the infamous "Professionals". The wonderful "Blue Peter" and various other children shows, where she gained a great understanding and knowledge of the TV world.

Most of Emma's collection has spawned from a love of life and need to know more. Sometimes you know what the image is and what it's about however there are occasions when you look at these pieces and think "Mmm I’m not quite sure what it is, but I know I like it!!” that would be a close sum up of her work.

I find the Design world amazing - I find Architecture and Nature even more so! My work has always and will always focus on being as passionate as I can. I love design very much so, and I’m not ashamed to say that. I'm not one of these people who think that being cold and cool is the only way a designer should behave. I am a full and stable person with many wonderful ideas, never a chore never a bore!!
