On October
31st, the V&A will launch its new magazine designed by the award-winning
studio Bruce Mau Design which has gained international recognition for
its expertise in print design and production.
The magazine, which will be free to V&A members, will reflect the V&A's
collections, exhibitions, expertise and diversity.
The magazine will include interviews with celebrated artists, designers
and architects plus new pieces by acclaimed authors. Issue one will feature
interviews with Frank Gehry and Nigel Coates as well as new writing by

The Future Now, a regular section, will highlight the objects that shape
our future while Source talks to the collector in all of us. Leading experts
will set the record straight on cultural issues while international news
and previews plus travel articles and comment pieces will focus on the
wider cultural world. The magazine will be beautifully designed under
the direction of Bruce Mau who regularly works with some of the world's
leading architects, artists, writers and institutions. His latest project
is the development of a museum of biodiversity in Panama City in collaboration
with Frank Gehry.

Park in Toronto and STRESS, a multi-media installation about the limits
of the human body. Published on a quarterly basis, the magazine will be
mailed to all members of the V&A and will be available through subscription
and in selected newsagents and bookshops.
The editor of the new V&A magazine is critic and broadcaster Charlotte
Mullins. The magazine will be published on behalf of the V&A by Cultureshock
