PILOT:1 is a unique new art forum to take place in London 16-18 October 2004.
INTRODUCTION: One hundred international curators, writers and artists have each been asked to nominate their favourite un-represented artist to take part in this unprecedented and innovative event. PILOT is a free event. NOMINATORS: These curators,

Most importantly, they will be present for the duration of the event to make contact with curators, collectors, and critics as well as being available to a wider public. Film and video screenings, a digital / new media section and a series of panel discussions will also accompany the event. PILOT will be hosted at the Limehouse Town Hall over three days in October, to coincide with the Frieze Art Fair. PILOT is a free event - there is no exhibitors charge and no entrance fee. PILOT:1 TO PILOT:2 A publication and an online archive will be available. Continuous administration of the project will ensure that the artists are represented well after the event, and form a bridge to PILOT:2 in 2005. In this way PILOT can develop as a growing resource for artists, curators, collectors and writers. For
