Summer’s here, at long last – and what better way to spend those long Sunday evenings than sipping champagne mojitos and dancing your socks off to some of the best music from New York, Berlin, Rome & Kingston on one of the best soundsystems in West London? It’s all happening at Woodys, the low-key jewel of Notting Hill’s notorious club scene and home of that Mario Testino artwork. Despite its diminutive size, the club packs a powerful punch with a brand new state-of-the-art sound and light system. And with some of the best cocktails this side of Manhattan, it’s certainly not a place to come for a quiet pint on a Sunday, but a dark, sexy and glamorous haunt in which to carry the weekend on...

Kicking this month off we’ve got Rowan Chernin from the ever-excellent Fesh and D.F.R. parties in the East End (Aug 1st). Making his second visit to the club, Rowan’s sets of kick-arse Italo, electro-house and kinky disco have been getting everyone’s knickers in a twist over at the 333 club for a year now, so this rare West London visit comes highly recommended. Two weeks later (Aug 15th) Cocadisco and Vice Magazine’s resident Italo lover Theydon Bois makes his Nodisko debut, joining Magic Jase for a back-to-back set of beautiful, beautiful disco music. Then we finish the month off in style with fellow Woodys faves Soleil for a joint Carnival after-party special (Aug 29th) featuring guest DJs on all floors of the club... And what’s more, Nodisko’s own tower of power Zak Frost will be celebrating his birthday. Rum’n’cokes all round! Full details of this super-nice knees-up will be announced very soon...
