Artist Statement:
Galina Maslennikova studied painting, graphic art and fashion styling at the School of Arts, Ryazan. In 1995, she graduated with a degree in theater costume design. At the Novgorod Art School, she trained to be a porcelain painter. After that, she took a course in interior decorating. As a fashion designer, she prefers to work with silk and jersey.

The name of my last collection is "My secret me" and it's about the relation between women and flowers. It's a collection of bride dresses where each flower symbolise the most bright trait of caracter of a women. Those, for example, the narcisuss dress will suit a woman who loves herself, admires herself and proud of herself and want other to appreciate her. The lotus dress is for smart and intelligent women with a life experience just like the flower itself always symbolised the women wisdom.
