Artist Statement:

My illustrations are based around my sense of humour, and how I perceive a world where all things make me laugh. I am in my element when given any opportunity to let my imagination run riot, this is the main reason I decided to specialise in illustration for children, as I find that there is nothing more infinite, than a child’s imagination.I choose to illustrate detailed and busy scenes, so that the child may come back to my work time after time, and notice something different each time.The majority of my work is done using acrylic and ink, but I also mix a variety of different media to gain certain effects. This can include anything from watercolour and gouache, to bubble bath!
