Artist Statement:
Primarily I’m interested in areas of life that are on the borders/fringes of society and experience. This is why I particularly love taking photographs at night. I also enjoy trying to use photography as an experience of the other, the surreal, the darkly poetic and sometimes even the magical. I am drawn to images of decay and locii of urban squalor, the areas where systems break down and strange chthonic forces come into play.
