Iain Kennedy Connell Artist Statement: Iain Connell: Artist’s Biography My Work
utilizes the human figure as it’s starting point towards abstraction.
I initially synthesize a number of abstract compositions in charcoal and
oil paint on paper. During this process I can sense a tangible dialogue
between each drawing which results in a final composition which is then
followed through to it’s conclusion on canvas. • Exhibitions Riverside Gallery Winter Exhibition, Riverside Gallery, 28 David Street Stonehaven, 28th November 2004 January 2005 Peacock Visual Arts A5 Exhibition, Peacock Visual Arts, 21 Castle Street, Aberdeen. 19th November 2004 – January 2005.
