Artist Statement:

Night seeps into day,
Childhood into adulthood,
Birth into death,
What is known into that which I imagine...
My mind travels over the fragments of our memory,
Visions reflected in light and shadow.

Where do we come from? Where are we going to? What is life about? These questions have contributed to much of what I photograph.

Making photographic images is an attempt to understand the ineffable mysteries of life. I am drawn to people and places that explore the non-material world and the universality of the human condition. Universal struggles of love, relationship, suffering and loss are what interest me most.
