Artist Statement

I'm a portuguese Art-lover living and working in UK for the last 4 years, and specially interested in painting and poetry.

Having participate in several exhibitions and sold some pictures before, meanwhile I've complete my Art&Design course and I'm studying Architecture at the moment in Manchester University.

I celebrate in my painting my love for life and nature, as Art is my concept of religion, where the sacred is just simply what we love; but I also believe that Art is not just a question of producing beautiful paitings or poems or movies but rather to produce beautiful beings...

So, much more important, seems to me, to face our quotidian life in a creative way and planing it as a magnificent, complex, piece of art where we could celebrate and share our love for Life, Nature, Freedom, Beauty, Harmony...
