Artist Statement:
My work is primarily figurative paintings that can evoke intense moods and ambience. Recently I have been exploring vivid colour tones such as blue and red to create a specific atmosphere to the piece. Most of my paintings have a story or meaning behind them, which is sometimes obvious and other times more obscure. I aim to give the characters within the paintings a sense of mystery so that the viewer has to project their own interpretation onto the piece.
