Artist Statement
My work is a collection of symbolist abstract cubist and landscape ideas. I have incorporated all these different metheods to forge my own distinctive style. In my painting work I like to work on strange and unusual ideas and develop them, and to hopefully come up with something out of the ordinary and very thourght provoking. To me painting is not only about the visual side, but also the mental side of things. Most of my works have an allegorical meaning or explanation. I also try to intentionally paint irrational and intangible ideas and thourghts.I use a wide array of different media such as enamel gouache watercolour ink emulsion oils and many others. In my Illustrationwork I also try to come up with quirky and fun and also quite dark work utilizing different methods and media
