Artist statement: My work is characterised by clean, sharp lines. Shape, structure and silhoutte interest me. I enjoy messing around with 'the traditional:' my Clothes Show garment was based on businessmen; l took the lapel shape from a suit jacket, and turned it upside-down to form the opening of the 'coat,' the skirt was made up of lapel shaped panels. I like my work to have drama and impact, despite being essentially simple and linear.
