Artist Statement

My name is Kirsty Appleby and I'm a mature student from Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset.

I have just completed 3 City and Guilds in Basic, Portrait and Seascape/Landscape photography. I am in the process of completing a Foundation Degree in art and design at Weston which will follow onto a degree in applied arts Sept'06, with Bath Spa University. I am passionate in all areas of photography but especially in b/w monochrome. I prefer using 35mm but am opening my eyes to digital. I would appreciate any feedback (positive or negative) as I am new to this and would like to develop photography further.
