Leo Maciel

Artist Statement

Leo Maciel is a comtemporary artist based in London.
He works all kind of media, acrylics to oils, charcoal to pastels on canvas, on paper, on wood.
His work is very diversefied: drawings, paintings, collages, photography, digital art, mixed media.
He has exhibited his work in three group shows in London and is currently looking for a gallery representation and a gallery space for his first solo show.
The work "MIND THE BOX" is comprised of 25 hand-made wooden painted boxes, containing 2 images inside and 50 outside (to form a bigger image). I took the artist over 2 years of hard work to complete this project.
