Artist Statement: I am interested in
simplicity of form and the subtlety found in a non-glazed ceramic piece.
All of my work is hand-built and burnished so that the surface is smooth
and slightly reflective. The process of working with the clay means that
there is a strong involvement with each individual piece. They are delicate,
sensual objects that are inspired by nature and the environment we live
in.
