Artist Statement:

When teachers at Lora's school caught her drawing in Maths class, they thought she was advanced and not challenged by the lesson. She was however, just bored.

Educated at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in Maidstone, Lora was not dyslexic enough to earn herself a free brand-new shiny imac; she was as it turned out just an appalling speller. Instead she spent her dwindling student loan on a computer, scanner and printer, and set out to learn the wonders of Photoshop.

Lora values feedback from other artists and anyone engaged by her work. As an aspiring illustrator of children's books she loves sharing her work with younger readers and hopes to inspire a sense of wonder similar to that stimulated in her by the likes of Anthony Browne, Tim Burton, Lewis Carroll, and Hayao Miyazaki.
