Statement:
I
am a hardworking individual that can work on my own or as part of a team.
I love to adapt to new situations and learn new skills which can aid me
within the design work that I do. I am obsessed with music and a lot of
my work reflects this as I see music as somewhere I can go and use to
express myself through artwork.
Notes to go with "image1"
The painting is based on a song by DJ Shadow called "Midnight in
a Perfect World" The characters are representations of beats within
the song, the size of these said characters are the only differentiation,
which shows the softness or loudness of each sound. The colours are a
reflection of the mood given by the music when the "user" listens
to it. Reds to symbolise depth, love, hatred, Blues to symbolise peace,
tranquility, terror...etc. Each person that views the painting or listens
to the musical piece will have a different outlook on the painting/music
as personal preference and viewpoint will determine the way people decipher
the painting.
