Artist Statement:

I paint in Acryllics and tend towards a detailed approach; however, I am trying to deconstruct this and move into more abstract areas. I have never been much of a portrait person, however my recent renaissance seemed to steer me that way. Most of my pictures are of family members; my son; my neice; my wife etc. I never realised the pleasure to be derived from portrait painting and really hope to push the boundaries further so that I can paint the soul. In truth I would like a commission someday; and am currently honing my craft.
