Artist Statement
My work is focused on exploring the passage of time through print. Everything
that has a physical presence, animate or otherwise, leaves trace evidence of
its existence. I have been applying printmaking techniques within my work that
attempt to represent and imitate natural processes.
Discarded junk, peeling posters and scrap metal have become an integral part of the work providing a metaphorical language that interprets the conceptual notion that objects and physical life are transitory. I seek to portray the finite nature of life and the infinity of existence in its perpetual disintegration and renewal.
