Artist Statement

The flesh of the body is defined by that which it touches, and so the image of the body at the point of contact forms a statement. The space where the body makes contact with another surface is made tangible through the media of print; the residual mark of the point of contact is descriptive of the gesture that caused it. The space between the two surfaces expands, warps and contracts under the pressure of the body, thus redistributing the ether within a malleable bubble, poised to dissipate if the contact is broken.
