Artist Statement

Despite gaining a degree in Geographical Sciences, my passion for the visual arts led to a decision in 2001 to pursue a career in design.Since then I have matured my artistic sensibility by continually experimenting in Photography, Illustrative artwork and Graphic Communication.

Entirely self taught, my work is primarily influenced by light and music, two elements that I feel share a symbiotic relationship. My passion for photography crosses over into my artwork, therefore my abstract ideas have a basis in capturing the emotion created by light.
