Artist Statement:

My illustrations have been produced through experimenting with colour media texture and pattern using a combination of lino printing collage and painting. I believe that the colours and images in the books that we read as children shape the likes and desires that will last a lifetime,that's why I feel that colour is fundamentally important especially to my images where I am trying to achieve a magical and ethereal quality. I continue to be inspired by the innocence of children's minds and how magic can be created and allowed to grow in their imagination.My work takes ordinary scenes,people,animals and nature drawn in my sketchbooks and adds that little bit of magic.My work is aimed at the market of children's books,card designs,wrapping paper and stationary.
