Artist Statement
I am a self-taught painter, I started exploring the body and its suffering:
the obvious physical pain of human bodies as well as the much less obvious emotional and mental pain. I gradually painted more and more abstract works, using strong colours and vivid brush stroke, making my figurative works evolve into something less reprentative of our surroundings, but still showing some pain and confusion.
